Friends of Mason Park Wetland inaugural photography competition now open

To highlight the value of biodiversity at this important wetland, Friends of Mason Park Wetland Inc is inviting Strathfield LGA locals and keen photographers of all levels everywhere to enter between one and four photographs taken at Mason Park Wetland into our inaugural annual photography competition.

Entries to the Friends of Mason Park Wetland Inc Photography Competition are now open and will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, October 1, 2023. The only content restriction is that the images must have been taken at Mason Park Wetland.

We’ll showcase the entries of all finalists in a gallery on our website once the winners are announced on World Migratory Bird Day, October 14, 2023. We remind photographers that this is not a bird photography competition, although there will be many birds featuring in submissions. Interesting photos of all flora and fauna at the wetland are welcome entries.

There’s no entry fee and the images must be digital only, so it’s easy for everyone to enter. We hope to see people’s skill and creativity provoke an emotional response in our audience via these photos of the wetland’s biodiversity.
